Little glasses boy is a condescending, manipulative little sh*t from the start, I couldnt really root for them as a couple. He forces himself into the conversation that the girls are having with his friend, takes it over until they leave from the awkwardness, then tells his friend later “oh they ran off because YOU are bad at conversation” (basically making it seem like he’s the one at fault ) This is exactly the kind of move possessive lovers do to keep your self esteem low and make you feel like you can only ever rely on them. Scanned through the rest, and it seems like this nastiness is never addressed. Yikes. This is going to be a very draining relationship for the seme.

Akira was friends with the professors wife who was also the Prof. student. The wife died on a stormy day and now Akira hates storms. The Prof. 'tried' to "heal" Akira (they did NOT sleep together), so that he would move on because although Akira is no longer his student, he still comes to the lab as his assistant because he feels guilty and thinks the wife's death happened as a result of him not wanting to attend the orchestra concert.

Although Akira was bereaved at the death of his friend and feeling guilty about her passing, he was not so traumatized that he made a pass at her husband (I applaud him for that). Akira was confused about why he refused to sleep with the Prof. at the that time yet he did not refuse Yusanao, and although he realizes that the way in which those situations came up was different, he does not relate it to the lack of romantic affection he has towards the Prof. vs. the slowly blossoming affection he has towards Yusanao.

Taking all of that into account I do not believe he was in love with the professor but he did feel responsible for his wife's death and he wanted to do (almost) anything to pay the professor back.

Does the Brother have a story? He is hot. And I want to see more of the seme he is cute and cool at the same time.

Most are confused that Akira was in love with a woman but had a moment where he was almost embraced by a man, it's worse that it was the woman's husband.

I was confused, too. Like I thought maybe it was a trope where Akira loved the married man who just lost a wife and Akira was taking advantage of it.

So this is refreshing. The foundation is weak and confusing since Yusanao kinda just popped up at first and their relationship wasn't as focused than what Im used to when it comes to BL stories. However, it did end well for these Ozawas.

Is there a story with the bartender brother?

It makes me mad to see that some people say that it's the uke who tried to sleep with the sensei
(╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
Can't you see that the sensei tried to push is way and not the other way around.
The uke was only sad about his sempai's death and was completly and didn't know how to react in this situation, that's all.
So I wish him a happy futur with his lovely seme

I don't usually read this kind of rate , hmmm.... i should've stick to my standard. Haha just kidding.
this story is not bad...lack of expectation but full of feelings.

Ai-hime February 17, 2019 10:45 am

What is usual rate anyway? I think 8.1 is pretty high... Or I don't know. Though, honestly, this story's not for me too.

The good atory start with 8.8 to 9.7... but i usually read with the 9.0 and above.
But ... when i'm exploring , i'm gonna pick 8.5 sometimes.

The sensei is gross. You do not make a move on your student who was in love with your late wife when she just died. It makes it look like he was always aiming for him and took the chance since Ozawa was heartbroken. Luckily, he was rejected in time.

I am confused, or maybe you are. The uke never slept with the professor and what you saw was a flashback to when the professor's wife was killed. Ozawa liked the professor's wife, originally, until he found out that she was married to his professor. He loved her but she was out of his reach. He turned down her invitation to the concert because he was jealous and still had feelings for her. The professor knew Ozawa liked his wife, but he also knew that his wife was devoted to him. He felt bad for Ozawa after his wife died and clumsily tried to comfort him with sex, which Ozawa initially accepts, but ultimately refused before they got too far. They remained friends, but Ozawa never got over the fear and grief of having someone he loved die in such a way. Ozawa only pushed Yusanao away like he did because he was desperately afraid to lose him the same way he had lost his unrequited first love (the professor's wife). Ozawa played the "bad guy" and treated Yusanao poorly in order protect himself. Ozawa's words and actions didn't match up and his excuses were ridiculous. Yusanao sees this and that is why Yusanao doesn't just give up. He could tell there was a reason Ozawa was refusing, but it wasn't because he didn't like Yusanao. Then, Ozawa finally confides the truth to Yusanao when Ozawa calls him in a panic because he is trapped in a thunderstorm thinking Yusanao will die the same way the professor's wife did. Ozawa was so afraid of that particular thunderstorm because the conditions were exactly the same as they were the day the professor's wife died. He had refused to go to a concert with the person he liked for a petty and selfish reason.

If English isn't your native language I can see where reading this manga and putting together the visual clues without really grasping the written ones would lead you to the wrong conclusion. I've done it myself while trying to read manga in Japanese. I know some Japanese, but I'm really not fluent in it. I hope this explanation helps you to see the story and characters more clearly.
