I really like this art style, it's so pretty and sexy. But am I the only one that finds the way the female characters eyes are drawn by this mangaka weird?? They look like they are drugged out of their minds 24/7. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Someone commented below that they thought there was a one shot but even they were not sure. It's sad that there is nothing more. It's not the fact that it didn't end with Natsume recovering his sight; it's the fact that his lover wonders "will I be dragged into darkness with him?" and that leaves a feeling of uneasiness. It doesn't satisfy as a happy ending because it hints at something going wrong. If it had been a simple ending with them in each other's arms, in a normal setting, it would be fine, because I think the story was hinting at Natsume recovering his sight because he could see lights and shadows.
I feel like the mermaid chapters is not ended yet. of course it said he'll protect and etc but how about healing him and etc i mean like a lot more. u can stretch the chapters more if u want so that it would feel really complete. oh well.. i'll just create myself.
To be honest, i think mermaid in the dark ended pretty well. i love how the seme ended it with saying "I will protect you....definitely" It gave off a felling that the are going to be together forever(▰˘◡˘▰) oh, and i HATE the bro (╬￣皿￣)凸
i agree with you but in all honesty i would like to know if he ever recovers from the trauma he got from his brother and if he will recover his vision soon. It would be nice to have an extra chapter on him seeing stuff for the first time

I really wanted to know what happens after that? Like does the blind guy get his sight back? Does the seme get dragged down by the uke? Everything ended very vague for me like there's still more to explore and go on. It's really sad though, crazy brother and that face is usually seen in those horror comic XD anyway I love the others but I feel like there could be more for the 'mermaid' story.

Mermaid in the dark was probably my favorite in this story and I wish there was more. It seemed like it ended way too soon. It deserves like 50 more chapters
