When I'm reading something that will lead to unhappy or tragic endings, I tend to have an irritaion or uncomfortable disposition about it. However, I do keep reading though because it doesn't mean I won't like it. I really apprciate these kind of works despite my first statement. Well, it was 'tragically' decent.
What just happened? I've read fake fur and this and i still can't grasp the situation. Yeah! After the friend left his life seems to deteriorate i mean gone to some path IDK.... too lazy to understand this. But i like the last story. The only story on this manga that has a legit end.
WHAT DAFQ!! I READ ALL THE SEQUELNOF THIS BOOK BUT EVERY STORIES HAS NO ENDING. I WANNA SEE MAKI AND RENI. THEN WHEN SHE INTRODUCED YAMASHITA? I DONT KNOE WHO HE END UP IT. I THOUGHT HE LOVE THE OTHER GUY. AND NOW THERES THIS PAST AND I DIDNT EVEN SEE HIM IN THE FUTURE. DID HE DIE??
Yamashitas story starts in Fake Fur, and continues in this one. Chapters 3 and 4 follows directly after Fake Fur since Yamashita is still in high school, then chapters 1 and 2 follows since he is already in college and he finally found love with Fukazawa...
I don't get why a lot of you are upset about Three Quarters, I think the stories are all very beautiful and show Yamashita's growth as a person. I agree with rainbows and butterflies, if you take a closer look at the timeline, you'll see that his "relationships" with Keita, Kishida, airconditioning man all happened before he met Fukazawa. Lastly, although it doesn't seem like it, there are hints toward the latter relationship being canon (OTP). This can be hinted at from Fukazawa's side, we get the notion that he's also in love with Yamashita.
never mind my question- i re-read the last few pages of fake fur, although it is not shown or said i get the feeling Maki also had a happy ending marry
u can see in the raws of ch4-5 fake fur that the guy run after maki and stopped him with his bag still around his arms, u just see this one scene where he calls his name and maki has tears in his eyes when he turn around.before that u can see in a flashback that he finally understood that he loved maki and maki did love him this whole time.
So there's this guy with questionable taste who wanders through life sleeping with people, but feeling unfulfilled... and kind of rambling on in his head. I can't tell if it's just poor/odd translation, or if it was actually written in a way that tries to be "deep" but just wound up feeling empty to me. I'm not sure I want the guy to find a decent guy to have a relationship with, don't think I like him enough to want that for him. He did have a couple of cute moments, I guess.

It starts off with Electric Connection (Maki), then we have Fake Fur (Yamashita and Reni), then we have Yamashita again with a new guy.

Yeah, but there is that distance. Like they could break up because they both don't know the other loves them.
