The story is absolutely beautiful. I loved it. So much and I cried so hard towards the end and I was so ready to grieve, and I was sobbing, when I guess we thought she died? I think the author got scared to really fully sell the tragedy ending and decided to go direct time. Skip where both of them decided to live decades without each other. Only to reunite in the end, when they're both old and Gray, which, to me kind of cheapens the effect the ending has. I dont understand why she would wait decades for him to find out that she's alive, or why the author could just not gone through the time skip and just cure her, it was both a tragedy that turned into a happy ending and mixing it together like that seemed foolish. Otherwise, I loved it, I've never cried so hard for a story and I don't know if I ever will again

Current: 104 I have endless love for this. The way it captures the conflicts, emotions, and complexity of each character is so incredible. The story is so good and I feel and relate to them so much especially Paula. I love the characters so so much and I've cried and had a big ass smile for so many parts. Omg this is so good AND VINCENT IS THE GREENEST FLAG ML I'VE EVER SEEN, NO ONE HOLDS A CANDLE TO HIM
