I really REALLY loved this one. the art is on another level gorgeous the character designs are out of the world the mc is extremely likeable and relatable but... nnnnhhhgghhh. Alas I had to drop it. See the thing is eventually they introduce the TRUE male lead (and they make it clear he is different from the other guys) and I just! do not like him. he isn't as good as the other guys we met up til that point. and it JUST kills this webtoon for me. romance isn't enjoyable if you don't like both partners and I just felt he was such a disappointment compared the guy i was rooting for (the knight).

edit: you know what i need to mention this here, the beginning of this one fucking sucks. the original Senianna was in so much pain and was never once loved or treated kindly. and everyone blames her for it. they talk about the original like she was weak, like she deserved it, Lance literally calls her an "Egomaniac" who "Lashed out at everyone until nobody was left beside her" like fucking excuse me? she was depressed because she was being abused, she didn't lash out, she tried to kill herself. None of you selfish assholes were on her side to begin with. nobody ever tried to help her. it's all so victim blaming and it makes me feel so irrationally upset. i feel bad for the original Senianna. my heart aches for her. https://bato.to/chapter/1577323 thats not to say this entire thing is complete trash. i'll be honest you just sorta have to white knuckle through all this shit, but the family is so fucking cute later. they never still never apologize though. and uuhhh god i don't remember the plot point properly but... theres a whole thing later with the magic and the portals and the mcs teacher from back in Korea and like... the mc was the original and got replaced and that replacement was the one who was treated badly so it's all cool and justified or... fucking something it's been a long time since i read the chaps. i'll update this when i get there lmao. i still think what i said about the begining stands because even if thats all true you don't know that first read (and clearly i still dont know on the reread) so like... I still feel like it's to victim blaming about the whole thing. regardless of magic shenanigans I really like this series, I feel like the plot of progressing quickly enough that it never gets boring. I will say the new magic developments are... while not entirely out of place super unexpected? I thought this was going to be primarily about cooking and now there's this whole magic portal business. I'm excited to spent more time with the Prince (whom I presume must be the ML?). I feel like we still don't know him that well. im sad the artists changed... the original one was super unique and really stood out. the new artists is REALLY good don't gte me wrong, but it doesn't have the smame creative spark you know? anyway... i'm caught up with chapter (85~) and boy howdy! i hope Lily explodes i hate this bitch tch. also I miss Sienna's family it's been such a logn time since we spent time with her brothers... orz

I love this manga soooo much the characters the drama the humour (actually funny jokes in my wbetoon? more likely then you think!) theyre so good for each other theyre so sweet together i looooove them!! and theyre both so so handsome i LOVE looking at them my beloveds

I really like the official translation for this one. I read the scans originally and they're excellent, don't get me wrong. And there's a certain charm a fanproject has that the official release can never capture but. I really like how the official handled stuff with the mcs friend. I feel like the translations were more charitable towards him, especially since he didn't actually do anything wrong per say. The fansubs were a little... it felt like they hated him and it was easy to get caught up in their pace lmao. Which is one of the charms of fanprojects! it's fun to pile on the hate train for a char you all mutually dislike. I juts feel like it isn't totally deserved for the mcs friend y'know?

uuggghhhh okay so! i really did genuinely like most of the chapters we have so far. very good, i like these kinds of stories but. i read some spoiler (thank you brave novel readres) and I think i'm dropping this one. The fact that the ML is who is and the male twin gets dropped, and like.. loses his powers and position? sucks so so much i can't stand it. The twins only have only every had each other to rely and and while its a GOOD thing they can rely on others that doesn't mean to author should take that relationship away now that they have other people. that sucks and i hate it >:(

I haven't been keeping up with this one very much, but i check in with it once in a while. I'm still hoping Jeanette will die :/ I don't care if she hasn't done anything wrong I don't like her.
