also the translations sucks from ch 1-17. but thats besides the point.

you know i was gonna say "ah well it's not very good but it's fine i'm still gonna read it" but actually? no. who cares. i can find something better to read.
the arts decent and i don't hate the premise but. its just SO generic it feels like there's really nothing special about it. that coupled with the fact the translation is only so so leave me with no reason to continue with this one.

pretty bland sex friend -> lover coworkers kind of plot. nothing really special, the sex was just ok.
Also no one on earth has ever used the phrase "jerk off partners" and the way they kept saying it as if that was a normal drove me crazy. what are you talking about bro.

short sweet and simple! it hasn't got incredible depth or anything but it does what it sets out to do and does it well. the arts very beautiful!!

girl. whatever. gonna parrot a comment i read that said this reads like a harlequin novel but in bl form. those are the vibes baby. its has some interesting ideas vis a vi memory loss and past lives but. it's not executed well enough for me to recommend it as something good. give it a read if you want something light and stupid and bad, but also pretty nostalgic. it's very 2003 yaoi core.

i reread this so i could get a review for the complete but.. i don't have much to add. it's just a solid, pretty funny and cute shounen ai. the ending feels... a little abrupt? i would've really liked a little more but, it's not like it's cutting anything off. we got what we really needed.

reading this, on ch 10. just a quick update on the situation. the seme is fucking dick man. he's SUCH an asshole all the time. I find him quite grating. beyond that i like the uke, he's a sweet hardworking kind of guy. i like how he keeps trying to draw a line and stand his ground about not just accepting the semes money. i wouldn't want to be indebted to a guy who looks at me like im a fucking bug either buddy!! why would he accept favours from someone whos been nothing but mean to him? he has NO reason to do that.
because of the previous point i find some of the translators comments a little irritating. they and i do NOT agree on who is in the right in this situation.
update for ch 19. not really any better. the seme keeps having lewd ass dreams about the uke and i STG if he makes that the ukes problem i'm dropping this. also. he keeps getting mad at the uke for *checks notes* being poor? okay FUCK OFF man we can't all be born a duke what the hell is your problem. yes! hes poor! you know hes poor! could you maybe consider thats why he feels burdened when you keep imposing luxary goods on him! fuck off

you know what. ch 30. i'm just going to stop this makes me so mad. like i thought he had an epiphany last chapter when he fucked the uke half to death. but this chapter hes being all condescending and calling the uke ugly and weird and he's like i must have actually gone clinically insane i need a doctor like. man. i can't.

fine. a simple straightforward shounen ai. the arts very cute but nothing really stands out about it.

man. ch 6 is. whew. so the arts insanely sexy the way the seme manhandles the uke drives me insane so so my kink. buuuuuut... the dialogue... kinda squicks me out. if the uke at least did that thing that so many bl do wherein he was resistant at first but by the halfway point he way all ''kyaahhh feels good!'' then. i'd let it slide. but he stays kidna pissed off and says no the entire time orz. internally he's like mad at how good it feels but it feels kinda shitty when externally all he's expressing is mostly quiet rage. and the seme isn't really helping because he's all at least your body is honest about how good you feel (you've read that a 100 times i'm sure)

at the end of the day i'm gonna let it slide because i'm a fujo and i've got low ass standards but. like i'm really disappointed. the setup seemed really cute and they really seemed to be opening up to each other in the earlier chapters. i'm bummed the seme turned out to be SUCH a massive dickhead.
update for ch8. it like. keeps getting worse man. the uke REJECTED rejected the seme and yet... the seme is the one pissed off? where does he get off being the one whos angry about the situation. like. you forced yourself on him and when he doesn't warm up to you after a couple months of you fucking pretending to be nice you get pissed and snap? he's the one who should be fucking angry rn what is your problem! god.
the art is still really really good but like. it's not getting better. the uke was so honest about the fact he DOESN'T like the seme. at all. neither as a lover or as a friend he straight up doesn't enjoy his company and like. it's not Tsundere thing where he says one thing and means the other he just straight up doesn't like him. why. why did you write it like that. NANDE!!!
i'm just mad the arts so good and the story is so shit. gonna keep reading for a few more chapters but. if it somehow gets worse then this i'm dropping because it just makes me so mad every week.

edit: I can't do this anymore it pisses me off so much i'm going to give myself brain damage. i'm tapping out here, i give up. damn this stupid webtoon to hell. i hope the artists does another one later with a less detestable plot so i can enjoy their sexy ass art orz
