Kare No Barairo No Jinsei
Akuma Wa Hohoemu
Is there a seme as perverted and twistedly funny as Shouchan? The fucking funniest, craziest, sexiest seme in the world! Poor Ichii, I feel sorry for his tender little butt, 'cause if Shouchan ever gets a hold of him, he'll be wrecked.
Mede Shireru Yoru No Junjou
The art is spectacular, but is the story that does it for me. The traditional setting, with the beautiful kimono and rites of passage, as well as rivalries and jealousies and sweet childhood promises among our lovers, make this manga a must for anybody in search for a good romance. And how often is our seme an uke at the same time? And how often does a boy look so manly, whether he has long hair or short hair? Kichou is the fundamental romantic hero for me, he's so tough and gentle at the same time, and so exquisite in his womanly clothing as he is in his western straight man garb. Love him, love him, love him.
Udagawachou De Mattete Yo.
What a beautiful story! This mangaka has the most unusual knack of telling stories that at first seem common, but through her point of view, end up being so emotionally uplifting and satisfying. How delicately she presents us with these two boys trying to find themselves and accept each other with their particular choices, and at the end they complete themselves and each other. So lovely, it made me feel so peaceful and happy for them.
Negative-kun To Positive-kun
Although this is a strictly innocent couple, with nil sex scenes, they are the sweetest, most idiotically loving couple I've ever come across. Once again, this mangaka brings us a disparate couple so different from each other, they might be night and day, and yet she makes us believe so easily that they are exactly made for each other through so much humor and sweetness.
