Mike-kun and Hamura--Mike-kun was kid who'd been preyed on by Hamura's private tutor when they'd been neighbors. Not entirely sure I like the ending enough. Seems... off somehow.

Some tough angst. Some annoying parts (with that damned cousin) and some really funny stuff (including the dad who came in to count kids, then decided he didn't care if there was an extra).

Younger friends who got back together in high school; Kanou & Suwahara--BDSM. Despite the iffy BDSM, it wasn't too bad and was typical of bdsm in yaoi. I even liked that Suwahara admitted he did something wrong at one point. I didn't like the extra at the end because I don't give a fuck if you're a sadist or not not talking DOES NOT WORK. Ignoring him then telling him if he did it by himself, they were through. Most of it isn't bad, but that bothered me. Skip the extra at the end. The rest is good (especially the rings). related older bar owner and bartender (who's 19 at the beginning). Aside from the ridiculous insistence at waiting until he was 20 (forced plot point much?), it was good. childhood friends turned lovers where one is really quiet but then his real personality comes out--amending to add... skip this one. He's an asshole. And I really don't like the fact that he was so willing to go fuck other people (without mutual understanding!) when they were already together. No. I may not have the issue with cheating others do, but that's too far. And the way he pushed for sex when the other guy obviously wasn't ready was beyond the typical yoai rape, so... no. Just no.

counselor/doctor and student; swim team members I like this one because the one with the teacher/student is relatively easy. They have some bumps, but they're good together and don't torture themselves overmuch about it.
