I can't get enough!! Even this is more "action pact" then a lot of what I read, just the story line, the characters, both the serious and funny all blend to an ultimate piece of work.

Killing Stalking

Complete | koogi | 2016 released

KILLING STALKING ENDING IS ACTUALLY GOOD.     Ignoring some plot holes, the last chapter was actually a good thematic closure:   • Sangwoo What is interesting about sangwoo's ending is that his death is a poetic irony. Sangwoo did exactly what his mother did to him : showing Bum how he slept with Jeun, killing her and make him feel guilty about it, going to the forest together to bury the corpse and so on. And in all this mess, Bum wasn’t even accepted for who he was. In the last author’s note, someone asked if Sangwoo loved Bum, she simply said that the answer is in the last chapter, she pointed out the fact that Sangwoo was calling Bum’s name during his last moment. At the end he did recognize Bum for who he is, and he was killed with a pillow just after that, just like his mom tried to do when he was younger. It’s like he was betrayed and killed a second time by an important person (cause I suppose he didn’t see who killed him), which is very sad and pitiful... His past just repeated itself and destroyed him.  It’s sad. It’s horrible. It’s karma. • Yoonbum What makes YoonBum’s death completely valid is that, again, he get in trouble because of his own fault. From the first chapter, we know that YoonBum’s reason to live is Sangwoo; he was his new obsession, the guy who “saved” him when no one cared. And what happened when YoonBum tried get close to his hero? He put himself in a big, obscure mess. The Sangwoo that YoonBum “loved” so much was a monster, an illusion, and how did he die in the end? Pursuing the illusion of a dead man. Just like the start, YoonBum again fallen for an illusion and again did pay the price. • • • They both lived in the same house and they shared a « relationship », but it’s impressive to see how they actually lived in two different worlds and psychologically speaking they had nothing to do with each other. Both of their lives just ended miserably.. and to me they had no future together since their mental illnesses made it impossible. Sigh... their death was the only solution to finally free them from their problems.  The end of Killing Stalking is good. Not perfect, a little clichê, but good enough. P.s: Killing Stalking is a psychological horror thriller not a romcon.

Lover Boy

The more I read this type of stories, the more I realize how much complicated boys love can be. Or perhaps they suffer this much because they are of same gender !!! Obsession, guilt, happiness, passion, selfishness, cowardice, hatred, regret, emptiness, you name it, love is a mixture of all of those. At first I didn't like Jaeha! But as the story progressed, reason of every character's dilemma became clear and Jaeha felt so real, he acted the way as many people in his shoes would do, and the disliking faded away. •Lover Boy Eunho once asked Jaeha to be his, but it was too late he was already getting married. However, now they meet again after Jaeha’s divorce and now the time for new love has arrived. Sadly Jaeha is going out with another man in order to try and help himself forget his feelings for Eunho, but Eunho refuses to give up on their love. Struggle and persistence plus double re-encounters finally lead to the hard-earned happy ending. This story got me drunk without alcohol. I forgot all my obligations and read it in one day. The characters were so well developed that they could be real. The webtoon contains amazing art and then the fact that it ties angst, fluff, and Yaoi so well. Now I can say it's Truly a considerable masterpiece.

Obey Me

A Guy Like You

Complete | Waje | 2016 released

I enjoyed reading this, felt it was too long and melodramatic and the characters showed what love goes through even when it was done in the most cliche way possible. The main couple [Go siwoon - Kang jinha] had to deal with a one-sided love at the beginning then with others trying to get in between them, and showing what someone is willing to do for love. Towards the middle, the author or editors had trouble explaining the plot confusing the readers. It should have been wrapped up to end since they knew how to block the Envy Stone from hindering the Fate Stone (around Ch.45), author should've just let them turn the table, let our 2 smol beans eventually be Happy Ever After.. The more it extended the more it ruined the main character, now they became such complicated lovers & friends, destroyed all their good point that the author had built up. It's sad that just because it’s the most popular manga on the original website, caused it’s dragged on & on until it became this mess. That was a waste. On the positive side, the story still overwhelmed the worth of read. It’s impressive how much the art has improved from the first chapter up until the last one, it really did seem like a dream. Their love prevailed through extreme obstacles and every character showed their different perspectives, emotions, loneliness, hope, loss, jealousy, rejection, and most importantly love.
