Sousuke falls in love all over again, but despite his efforts to win Minori over, Minori’s past traumas are holding him back.

In high school, Katsumi harshly rejected his best friend Maki’s confession. Now, ten years later they reunite and Maki finds that Katsumi’s regrets from that time have caused him to seek out violent sex as a way of punishing himself. Maki can’t help but intervene and tries to help Katsumi forgive himself. I love the aspect of the one who was rejected not having trauma, but gently seeking to heal his friend. Though it’s sad, it’s still a sweet and gentle love. Side story about a city boy who moves to the country and the neighbor boy who takes care of him finding love.

Nadeshiko gets cheated on so she buys a house in the countryside which happens to be managed by younger man, Mao. Though a bit flippant, he also happens to be perfect at taking care of her and quickly wins her heart. Short and sweet if not all that believable. No smut, despite what the tags say, just a scene in underwear.

(Ch.3) Brother Complex - Yukio has always looked up to older friend Toshihiro as his "nii-chan," but when he finds pictures on Toshihiro's computer of him working at an S&M club, it changes how he sees his nii-chan forever. I honestly hated this one, would not read again. Trigger warnings: coercion, rape, S&M. (Ch.4) Last Minute ☆ Count 2.9! - Kenji met a shy man, Shouki at a gay bar and they started going out, but Shouki refuses to tell him why he's always bruised up. Turns out, he's a wrestler, so get ready for some weird werstle-sex! Trigger warning: violence. (Ch.5) Lustful Music - When Kingo heard Ryouji sing for the first time, it was love at first sight, and he gave up everything to leave his band and live with Ryouji to make music together. But when he realizes that his presence may actually be holding Ryouji back from making it big, what will he do? This was the only one in this anthology I actually liked. No trigger warnings. (Ch.6) Yatsuromachi Cucumber Tenno Festival - Young man goes back to his hometown to play the flute for the local festival and reconnects with the man who taught him the flute, in the first place. But is it just a summer romance, or something more? No trigger warnings. (Ch.7) Weak Point Honey - A guy with a pain fetish gets a new friend. Trigger warnings: bondage, noncon.

High schooler Midori is forced to spend his summer in the countryside and ends up freeing a tengu, Karasu, who had been sealed in a tengu mask. Because Karasu's nose (and it's spiritual power) broke off inside Midori while he was using the mask to pleasure himself, the only way to return it is sex, which begins their strange relationship. This is very much a comedy and gets weird if you think about it too long, but it's still fun as a casual read. Trigger warning: stalking.

Momoki and Chikage are told they have to marry to keep calamity from striking the village, despite the fact that they're both boys. Momoki thinks it's only a ceremonial marriage, but when they're told to consummate the marriage, he quickly declares it impossible. Their parents insist on them living together until they do their duty, beginning their cohabitating life as newly weds who don't even know or like each other. But it turns out that Chikage has grown on Momoki, and for his part, Chikage liked Momoki from the start more than he let on. Sweet and silly boys, and I really liked Momoki's friend. No trigger warnings.
