Rui is a sub who has never had a relationship or even played, so he signs up for a dating app and agrees to meet up with a man who has model-level good looks. Only due to a misplaced "like" on the app, the scary-faced Ritsu shows up instead. The two go through with the play anyway, and Rui is over the moon with how good it feels, while Ritsu feels that Rui is exactly his type, so they begin to date. The only problem is, Ritsu is a much harder dom than Rui can handle, and trying to suppress his instincts starts to become painful for both of them. A surprisingly nuanced and emotional story dealing with two people who love each other but other needs don't match up. I think they fumbled a bit at the ending and it felt forced, but overall, a decent read. Trigger warnings: violence, cheating, drunk sex.

Sousuke is an inexperienced young gay boy who spends his days masturbating to one clip of his favorite porn star until they meet by chance in a bathhouse. After a brief sexual encounter, the innocent Sousuke gets ex porn star and current male prostitute Mitsuhiko interested, so they begin a relationship which melds a tender-hearted boy's first love with a jaded and used hooker's journey to find joy in life again. Trigger warning: rape.

Fuuka's never had a boyfriend but after one bad experience, she gets drunk and spends the night at the bartender Rintarou's house. He's ten years younger, but she decides to shoot her shot by joining his grandma's pottery class. It's a decent story, and I'm not sure why it's not more highly rated, except maybe that it's aimed at adults but has no smut. I liked how her anxiety and hesitation in the relationship was depicted so accurately, and Rintarou kept me guessing along with her. My only complaint was that it fell into a common Shoujo trap where after everthing goes wrong, everyone has to tell off the FL so she can suddenly change and try harder, which I think is dumb and played. At least Rintarou got told off too. 4/5 decent romance, no trigger warnings
