But when another student starts to get close to Sei as well, both of them reevaluate their relationship as friends. Sei is very cute and sweet, and I like how much his family loves him. Gael is a knight who is determined to become a paladin, but to do so, he has to offer a pure and undefiled body to God. Meanwhile, Elcielas is an elf who has been sent on a quest to save the king, and with his escorts dead and no working knowledge of human society, he needs some help, so when Gael saves him, he recruits Gael to help save the kingdom. Elcielas is so cute and funny, and his love for Gael is so wholesome. This is my favorite fantasy yaoi, highly recommend. Trigger warnings: violence.

Ch.1-3 - In this sequel to The Pure Knight's Shining Journey, Gael and Elcielas have saved the kingdom and are headed home, but although Elcielas is making his feelings quite clear, Gael isn't sure how he feels. No trigger warnings. Ch.4-6 - Side character Verna Bo comes to the elf forest on an errand from Gael and meets Fiyor, a blind elf whom the spirits love who instantly captivates him. Though Fiyor tries to maintain his distance due to the loss of his friend who left for the human world long ago, it gradually becomes clear that he and Verna are bound by something. Trigger warnings: mention of statutory rape/child grooming.

Tsubaki is an innocent high schooler who was raised by a wealthy family and a working mom, until one day his mom brings home her new, much younger boyfriend, Reiichi. Reiichi quickly blows past Tsubaki's initial reservations, and Tsubaki comes to think of Reiichi as a brother, until one day Reiichi kisses him. Tsubaki's mind is thrown into disarray, but when Reiichi confesses and says he'll break up with Tsubaki's mom and leave, Tsubaki realizes his feelings and chooses to be with Reiichi. The only problem is, Reiichi has been conning the family all along, and he's doing the same thing to Tsubaki. Or at least, that's what Reiichi wants to tell himself. A pretty messed up relationship, and it's absolutely bonkers that they act like the three could just be a happy family at the end, but it's an interesting read anyway. Trigger warnings: lying/manipulation, cheating, rape, statutory rape.

Fujita Shouya is just a teenager who doesn't understand love, so while looking it up, he stumbles upon a gay blog from a student at his school. He quickly realizes that the student is his classmate Sanjou Tsubame, and he wants to approach Tsubame but hesitates because they had a bad first encounter. Still, when he realizes Tsubame seems to be looking at Sanjou's friend Ryuu, Sanjou can't help but get involved and invite Tsubame to hang out. But the more the three of them hang out, the harder it gets for Sanjou to read Tsubame's blog as he realizes his own feelings. Interesting and well-developed characters. Trigger warnings: train groper, mention of assault of a minor.

Ch.1-2 - Hiyodori is an orphan who was raised in a brothel, and even though he's an adult now, he's been sheltered by the workers and is hopelessly innocent. Enter the handsome sea captain Shyougetsu, a friend of the owner who first found Hiyodori, who says he'll step up to teach Hiyodori about what it means to be an adult (sexually), leading Hiyodori to fall in love. It's short and sweet if you're into the very young, feminine type of uke, but they really did depict Hiyodori as just too childlike for my comfort. Trigger warning: feels like statutory rape. Ch.3-5 - Jan is a vampire who was caught by the part werewolf priest, Asu, and though he hates being fed blood packs instead of fresh blood, he's come to enjoy the physical aspects of their relationship. But when the father figure who raised them both (separately?) and formerly was Jan's lover returns, they have to prove their relationship. Weird stuff, not my cup of tea. Trigger warning: pedophilia.

Butler Yoshitsugu has protected the young master Kaede all his life and supported his search for a "prince" to marry, despite Yoshitsugu's feelings for Kaede, himself. Now that they've entered high school, Kaede thinks he's finally found his prince, but when it turns out that his prince isn't what he expected, it causes Kaede to rethink how he's been searching for his prince all along. But will Yoshitsugu be able to handle the change. Cute couple. No trigger warnings.

When businessman Saki passes out on the street one day, he's saved by the very sweet and innocent student Shinomiya who seems to know him from somewhere, and they soon fall in love. Although Saki is much older, it begins a very cute and heartwarming relationship.

But one day, Satoshi brings home a man he found on the side of the road, and though he doesn't say, it, it's obvious Satoshi is head over heels for the mysterious stranger. Though Makoto is suspicious of the whole situation, he can't help but wonder if it might actually help his brother become more independent to have someone to improve himself for. But meanwhile, a handsome stranger has been helping Makoto from time to time, as well. No trigger warnings.
