I like this story. Yeah it’s a little off putting that the author only established the FL’s age and not the ML (he’s a mature 18 year old btw). I think it’s good that the author is establishing that they are waiting to get married (she’ll be 15, he’ll be 21), because even though historically it wouldn’t be that weird for them to get married right now, I think the author realizes that most international audiences wouldn’t be able to handle that. Also, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I get the feeling that despite his joking and flirting; she is more romantically interested in him than he is in her. Sure he does do things to make her happy and flirts, but there have been some scenes where I feel like he’s humoring her; more than doing it because he likes her. I dunno, maybe it’s his stoic face… but I just can’t help the feeling like this is an adult humoring a child who’s found their first love because they’re young and naive…
