The Cursed Prince and His Clairvoyant Maid

Ongoing | The eun | 2022 released

When I say this is the most ridiculous, predictable story that I’ve read in a while, I mean it. The story starts out with this maid, who is supposed to stay in the palace according to her mom or she will die. But she gets sent to the Crown Prince’s Palace. He is always firing his maids so she needs to figure out how she can kind of get on his good side so that she can stay in the palace. From there, you could have called it. She’s having dreams about who she thinks will be the next emperor and the Crown Prince’s sort of kind of fiancée. Come to find out she is the girl who is the saints, not the kind of sort of fiancée. And the cousin is not going to be the emperor. Of course it’s going to be the leading man. Then miss girl finds out she’s the priest’s granddaughter, the daughter of the king of a different kingdom, and her mom is alive. Mind you they show the mom as a spirit once and we never see her again And of course the book goes exactly how I thought it was gonna go. In her past life, her man sacrificed himself for her and they sealed the evil away. In this life, she sacrifices herself for her man. He ends up saving her and then they live happily ever after the end. But the crazy part is he builds up and the foolishness in the middle. A good majority of the plot wander even necessary. The fight scenes at the end was wack, and it seemed like they just wanted to finish the book so… 7.5/10. Oh and the art style wasn’t consistent I feel.

I Stole the Heroine’s First Love

Ongoing | Eunmin,Palanmaskuki,Ramji | 2022 released

It was OK. It was a good read when I needed something to occupy me. I was almost able to get through with it in like a day. But yeah, there wasn’t anything too crazy. It was one of your typical game like manhwas where they have the liability meter and the status boards and stuff like that. But honestly, everything was looking good until the end. I felt like the end was way too rushed. Like the leading lady ended up going to the island for work. But then all of a sudden all this stuff happened and then the book is done and I’m like what? Especially because I feel like they had just started introducing us to different characters. Like the knight as well as kind of delving into Lily and we really didn’t even get to figure out what was going on with the hospital. Although they basically alluded that the hospital was getting built but it wasn’t resolved or at least kind of explored. I just felt like they added those things clearly for a plot, but didn’t really need it so I was like, OK so then why is it here. I understand the plot and everything but it was just kind of weird. And then her dad never saw her dad. But yeah, everything kind of just culminated and then we were meeting new people again and I was so confused. Then people were getting kidnapped and then the fights, for me, were kind of anti-climatic. And the big bad wasn’t all that great so everything was just kind of ehh. And maybe it was just cause I was not paying attention or I was rushing through it, but it really just felt rushed. And then she proposed to him at the end of the book and I was just like yeah we’re done. Would I read this again? probably not but if I guess I wanted to, I’d just read the beginning and then stop because the beginning wasn’t that bad but again like I said it was an OK book at most.
