The king‘s cousin is a strategist, and she goes to help the soldiers in a war against a different kingdom. But she finds out that the prize military captain needs to sleep with a woman in order to sleep. If he doesn’t sleep, he doesn’t do as well in battles. They end up sleeping together, there’s a misunderstanding, they make up, and they get married in the end.

This was an absolute mess!! Some assassin girl ends up killing this guy’s dad I think. And then he’s like oh no I wanted to kill him myself so you’ll just have to do and he swears that he’s gonna kill her. Then he starts to fall for her and they sleep together. Come to find out she’s like I’m tired. I wanna go and she’s like kill me. He was like no, so he cuts off her hand, then they fake her death, and end up together.

This was the craziest mess! I didn’t know this was a dark romance!! I thought it was a Cinderella thing where a maid would be with the Marquis and it was gonna be more like her helping him with being a demon but was gonna somehow be his dazed wife. I don’t know why but I really gotta start reading the synopses better and stop looking if it’s complete only.
