an old manga i've read. i don't mind rereading again since it's fun and rare (esp the cowboy concept). an entertaining light read, a fun adventure wild west-ish manga with nice twist. too bad it seems like the boy is not really sexually interested in either one of the handsome men around him. they were are nice eye candy tho.

AHAHAH, don't be discouraged by the cover, the story inside is cute and the art even if it's outdated is not bad! * set in ancient china. A young army commander who soughts promotion went into the quest of killing the "animal" that is killing a lot of humans lately in the nearby forest. #abduction *it's adorable. turns out he's a mountain spirit animal with human half-blood so he could transform into human. he may be able to communicate but he's still does not understand complicated human emotions. He's like a child in that aspect. this young noble taught him a lot of things like feelings and they started to mutually develop feelings. but human needed to return to village

Two wounded children got together after some years apart. It's too sad. That abduction and pedophilia #abuse that persisted till the boy was a teen hurt so much. It is not directly told but inbetween the panels you'd figure it out. Uke had a shitty life. Both experienced trauma and there's no adult that helped them. They were on their own. It's a sad, lonely world but now they had each other and have grown up somewhat. At least now they can take care of each other and shook off their cages.

If I let my emotion run I'd rate this 3 stars but the rest of the chaps are engaging & kept me up my toes. It could easily be a 5-star but the WTF CRAPPY ENDING. Made me dock one star. They DO feel love for each other but the problem is the boatload of issues that kept them from being honest. (hello daddy-complex, hello stupidity.) LIKE OMFG these two awkward fools. They're totally taking their relationship in the wrong process. They kept on missing the point. Sex before courtship in the middle of figuring out your sexuality is really, totally bad. I terribly wish someone would tell them to just "date each other" or something. The misunderstandings are making my heart ache much. #bi-racial romance. A japanese man encountered an american mafia crony whose boss tried to ask for ransom from his (corrupt) politician adoptive father. Dad refused. Hell ensued. But the kidnapped and the crony that is responsible for him had a spark. Both were able to escape back to japan to escape the escalating fiasco. Seme is fascinating. Everybody takes him for a fool including himself bec of lack of knowledge about his disability but uke thinks otherwise. It's a really developed story. I love it. MY ONLY, ONLY GRIPE is that the ending failed to give it justice. #straight uke x gay seme. #age gap - uke older by 10 years
