The many-faced, #half-japanese tashiro roy and his mentor and older lover j.b and their dangerous life together. Separate story, no appearance of prequel main cast. @CH. 6: shu hua cameo (the brat who chases j.b from kizuna). Kodaka sense's artwork has improved leaps and bounds in this volume. I was on a kizuna series binge and it's a nice treat to see how aside from sensei's artwork, you can clearly see the evolution in taste, fashion sense and architecture from sessa's 90's backdrop to GnH's latest 2016 fad.

⟫ I: Episode 0 > Itou-san This is some sort of prequel that features Itou-san's POV so we get a glimpse of life on his side of the world. I like the comparison of the cat drawn throughout the story. Here we see how he was raised as a mere machine for killing and how his owner gloats the perfection of his creation. However, karma would bit e him hard as he understand what "love" is the hard way. In the end, even someone as "perfect" as "I" is susceptible to love. And that made him learn how to be human. It's amazing. #foreigner "I" and his assassin group went to japan for business. #reencountered the boy he saved after 10 years. #sensitive topics like shota, child trafficking and violence. Read at your own risk.

⟫ Fake > Ra-I. #bi seme x straight uke: uke took his loook time to figure out his feelings. good pace. it took... what? 2-4 years for the charming and handsome dee to get the straight uke around? hehe. #classic: This manga is ahead of it's time. Or is it the other way around? they don't make mangas like this anymore. Now, it's all about the smut and the sexy police trope. For new readers, the art style will take getting used to but once you delve in the story, you will understand why this is a classic. #plot-heavy: Instead of a trope-y and/or kinky police plot or just dropping a gay+police together for some sexy time, we have a manga with a well-developed and properly researched (though not super accurate but the very japanese mangaka tried) story about two policemen who ended up together and just happened to be men. I like how the story is pieced like that. In every arc, we get to see their lives and how the kids grow and as case after case were properly closed, we get to see how their feelings grew. Dee, the guy who has chased his partner for years is as pitiful as he is amusing. I like how he's always creative in his rants. He kept the whole manga into a lighthearted note and I appreciate that despite the dangers and deaths surrounding them, Fake still maintained it's comedic note all throughout. That's the biggest difference it had to the heavy drama New York, New york. #adoption: Ryo took in 10-yo bikky at the start of the story. #great female character: Diana served as a cast for one of a few arcs too bad I wish she's a mainstay. but she's cool, pretty and strong. i like her. #multiple couples, het and gay. NOTE: These special chapters features the grown-up kids version. @vol 3, chap 10 and vol4, chap 12: bikky @14 and 15 yo. respectively. Appearance of rai/lai and lass/rathe. later had their own book. @chap 12: bikky x carol couple finally, at carol's 18th bday. #older girl #3 yrs age gap. @vol. 5, chap. 6: Al x rei couple cameo. #detective, #ESP.

⟫ Konya mo Nemurenai > Kimi to Kore kara. 〚 Verde x Gorou 〛 A direct continuation of the last story about demons being summoned to the human world to make a wish. This time, the quartet had all became friends and now the two unassuming & ordinary-looking humans each had an exemplary lover of their own. Endou couple going strong while the verde couple need to consummate their relationship despite the cockblock happening all the time. TBH I like this more because it has a long fighting scene and it entertained me immensely. Now, the book feels more like an Cross-dimensional fantasy manga than a BL manga. I like!

⟫ Stop at the Red Light > See You at the Crosswalk 〚 focuses on the 2nd couple 〛 This is how the couple started and met (they were already lovers at the prequel). Oh god, Jinho. You're not just naive, you're an airhead through and through *facepalm. He's so easy to scam and the seme is such a crook (but he's funny and quite not unlike that real manipulative Bumjoon shit) And though I feel for the uke, that was a funny combination so their interactions are entertaining. Seme's way of #courtship is just weird. #bisexual seme. Also, I like this one way better than it's prequel. #love triangle-wow, I super hate bumjoon in this volume. What a slag. Gaslighting, really? I've always enjoyed reading male empress in webnovels so I wanna try in comic form. Hilarious with little depth, this webtoon tells of the life of a beautiful man (yet is a big #sis-con) that disguised as his sister inside the harem and schemed of making his sister the queen so she won't get bullied. #SUPER SLOW PACE. NO ROMANCE FOR NOW. The author's lacking in the comedy area she should not have included that at all. Reminds me a bit of a seinen I'm reading, Tiger and Bunny... but GAYER hahaha. (Btw I love this mangaka's artwork plus her fantasy-action concept is interesting. I recommend her Red Hood.)
