〚 I first learned of this mangaka through Kigeki wa Koi around 2009-2011 I think? so that not-so-good first impression of mine about her artstyle has stuck so I kind of avoided her works. So without knowing it's her, I read this manga. And holy~ I GOT BLOWN AWAY. Like wow. HER SMUT SCENES. It's so beautiful and sexy, and the artwork is well-detailed that it's affecting. It's hot. I'm sorry sensei for my initial low opinion. Your unique art style amazing. (IT'S NOT FOR EVERYBODY THO).〛 Ch. 1: I love the girl supporting character, she's savage haha. courtroom couple. lawyer x lawyer. neighboring law offices and sorta rivals, #hate-love #unrequited love. #dub!con. uke's lawyer-style confession lol. I don't think everybody got that dude, don't play word games with us. .//. ch. 2: art student fell in love at first sight on a painting so he sough the painter and became his apprentice. second chap extra: the all-capable eldest sister of the painter who became his and the atelier's manager. .//. ch. 3: straight x straight. awwww this chapter is so sweet! no worries for this manga it's all cute and sweet, nobody is forced. two friends that are enemies at the same time because they always, always fall for the same girl. blame it to their very similar preferences it's like they were twins. even if it's the cause of their frequent fight, some feeling could arise from that kind of compatibility and if the mood is right... .//. ch 4: #bulter cafe. a breakup right off the bat. enter fujoshi friend who tried to cheer him up. i love it how they both accept each other. i actually like their friendship. well, the couple successfully make-up in the end after communicating properly at last. happy ending. :) .//. ch. 5: #neighbors and best friend for 10 years but chihaya still hates physical contact. very much opposite to the slutty mario. (MC-seme). This is so funny! so mr. playboy no matter how many sex he did, only felt his frustration getting bigger. the end is touching especially the part where he remembered uke's scar. it's amusing but has some depth.

A couple of nice, simple, smutty oneshots. What I notice is the semes are really handsome. ch. 1 & 3: #younger seme. The uke despite being older and a salaryman is ditzy and fluffy. met a handsome "highschooler" and fell in-love at first sight because of his uniform. seme is annoyed that the man likes him bec. of his appearance so he started #bullying the guy. but to his surprise, his antics were not effective. ch. 2: despite being a shot oneshot smut, the story is cute. Started with two ex-boyfriends that met again in college. they have gone out in high school but pure and timid uke is scared of going all the way. second chance #reencounter #seme doing the chasing. ch. 4-5: casual dater sexy uke x virgin otaku seme, #younger seme x older uke. university story. uke never noticed that there's this gloomy guy that exists in their theatre club. aside from liking the same author, their world and their personality are like night and day.

It's sad, depressing and portrays race and sexual orientation discrimination in a damatic and gritty way. There are plenty of moments where I say "yes" especially when connor threw that coffee a stranger gave him. Unlike a lot of BL mangas, this does not encourage gay fetishism that made it likeable for me but also hard to read because I can't help but identify and that for me is bad bec. it triggers a lot in me since I'm both asian and not straight. double damn, haha. Unfortunately, it's still ongoing but I don't like rereading stories like these even if it's good. It's too painful and personal. #break-up, #re-encounter after 6 mos to one year. #inter-racial lovers. #drugs. Seme is famous yet on paths to self-destruction but now, at least they got back together and they should fight back against this shitty world just to survive and keep their relationship as a gay couple. #bullying issues: it made a deep impression/trauma for the uke, not to mention he's gay too and his religious mother, though well-meaning is just not helping. i love mona, their former bandmate. it's been years since they disbanded but is still friends with the two MCs. she's awesome.

Cole a gay out in the entire uni is crushing over this straight guy, Alex. Never thought about acting on it, not even when a naked and drunk Alex stumbles to his dorm room. TBH, Alex found this guy such a handful and more than he could handle but it seems like he's more inlove than he think he does. Ch. 1: Reality is different from expectations. That's what the MC bitter life as a low-grade movie production staff is. His current job though ludicrous, is very stressful. It's either a "swinger club" (google it kids) or some kind of a mild S&M bar. In a #flashback, he consulted his straight friend about it over a drink which ended with a #drunken sex. But the ghost knew MC (uke) loves his straight friend. #mutual misunderstanding got cleared in the end w/ the help of the ghost. #guilt+tragedy to happy ending. #civil engineers working for the town hall. Ch. 3-4: #cute giant younger seme. More or less 9 yrs age gap. Asahi (seme) chasing this vocational teacher around. And cheerily so, making sensei tired all the more. Even if sensei doesn't make it super obvious they were in a mutual understanding type of relationship & OFC, it did not escape "god" when he encountered them. #breakup. Poor baby seme but the misunderstanding will clear up. ch. 5: Alright! it's god's turn for a love story! Arashima, the kind busybody friend-colleague from the last episode is back and this time, it's them two that are focused here. Poor guy is trying to hide his feelings to his straight #childhood friends but how long can he hide to a clairvoyant? #10 yrs unrequited and that simple word "let's go out" is unbelievable AF. Cute! it's very cute! -----------------.//.----------------- Ch. 6: try-hard delinquent is silently crushing over his uncle for sometime now. he's really a nice boy once but then their #tutoring session escalates to pettings and eventually jacking off and he's already in the middle of developing feelings for the uncle so when he was bluntly rejected, he decided to rebel.

It's okay. Not bad but not good either. It's uh... how to describe it floaty in it's ambiguity? sort of like how shoujo romance makes their story all flitting with a little bit of enigmatic atmosphere and stuff. SYNOPSIS: #band life + college. they started out good but it seems that living together 24/7 with just them and music is starting to mess up with their heads and hearts (uke, mainly) he doesn't know what's the difference between love and lust anymore. Stressed, it affected his music and relationship with the guitarist. #misunderstandings + #broken up but later both figured it out.

Nov 2017 EDIT: OMG @ch. 20-end: It's seriously giving me a heartbreak. Ohhhh why is it so painful between them. The drama, it hurts good. I can't believe there's only one chapter left before it finishes. I can definitely feel the climax. I'm in near tears BUUUTTT I've been let down in the end. I was never a fan of bad ending for couples when there could have been reencounters and resolutions that could happened and what did the webtoon creator did? well make them breakup. Congratulations on never resolving this in the end. I think even as much as he wanted to deny it, yoo il never had gotten over it. If he REALLY did, he won't be as guarded all over the memory like what he is doing. NOPE. Not fun. #reencounter with his old crush. Old crush had a son who just looks like him, to the chargin of our MC. However, the kind of grew closer each day but like any 40-something ahjussi, is still reluctant to step in this. Especially with how awkward everything about them is. And let's not start with the age gap. However, it is interesting how the webtoon presented their relationship as a love affair that needed to be hidden. Somehow, everything about this manga make you feel the realism of the issue it wants to get across, especially the may-december romance. Gratituous scenes are a bonus, even when the smut is not explicit. The plot makes me happy enough tho. Still, I'll keep the 4* because the drama hurts so good and it's good overall, just not up to my preferences.

⟫ Yebisu Celebrities (main) > Yebisu Celebrities - Kuge x Masunaga Ver. kuge x masunaga focused. Fin.@2017: I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS LIKE FOREVER!! UPDATED SYNOPSIS: We go back at the start of the main Yebisu plot where Haruka is the new probie. Kuge (seme) was just... being his blunt, sleazy self but when it comes to work, he's a professional. Masunaga (MC - uke) never got along with guys like Kuge. The latter's personality is just irritating not to mention his intense dislike for being touched and this guy completely disregards personal space. However, one day after days of tiresome overnight, they slept together. And slowly, along the course of the story, Kuge slowly melted this ice queen's heart. What I like is the seme's growth. He's some frank playboy but he became a devoted guy when he fell inlove with the uke. They're cute. The feeling of them very much inlove w/ each other is transmitted to me. I want to add that the hate to love may look sudden but those happened in between MONTHS so it's not really sudden at all. (I'm kind of used to this mangaka's pacing and that's she had this thing of skipping timelines w/o announcement and you need to read between the lines.) #sempai x kohai at work, #younger seme, uke older by one year. @chap 5: *squee at yebility chibi animal forest edition. Also includes a oneshot light novel of the pair. Finally, scanlators have finished the whole volume. With this finally finished, all the Yebility pairs are now complete. *satisfied smile.* Maybe this pair is actually popular to actually have a light novel and a whole manga volume on their own? wow.
