Hahah, I love it. It's like a lighthearted version of the Days of our Lives drama, BL version. BTW, this manga is a case of "don't judge the book by it's cover". The art inside is good and it suit the type of story very much and most of all, the story is great. There's a reason why this manga spanned for three volumes. #straight seme x #gay uke. uke had ben gay from the beginning so he shamelessly pursued the seme bec he's so inlove. however seme is straight but miraculously (more like bec. of uke's tenacity) he started responding positively. #first man.

How they met and fell inlove. 8 yrs ago, #bi-racial japanese, 20-year old tashiro is still an innocent orphan in a foreign land. met this guy who kills people for living still fell inlove with him regardless. Vol. 7: we finally get to meet the two's father. lol moments. i thought he'd be some stiff strong aura guy. after the previous heart-stopping action, but he actually looks like a nice old man when he's not in yakuza mode. it's vacation time for the two couples. kai x masa had a long serious talk, figuring out their feelings. AND. till the end they never get to resolve it. even the readers would shrivel up from their super slow progression. they even only reached the first base and haven't done anything since the last. FOUR. VOLUMES. c'mon masa, you old coward. #yukata #fireworks festival. Vol. 8: #kendo. the white masked demon rises again. Ahh, touching to see ranmaru picking up his shinai after the terrible accident. everbody believed it's impossible for hiim to take up a sword once more. national-level kendo fight bet. kai x ran. Vol. 9: masa x kai #omiai. The super slow paced couple strikes again. Vol. 9, chap 4-5: roy x j.b. tashiro's real name is actually roy. matured pairing. #oyaji seme #age gap. since he's stuck to stay outside japan and he and j.b. were now going out, he went with him and his assassination jobs. he gets to see some unsightly view like ex-lovers in this latest project tho. Vol. 9, chap 6: two couple's valentines special. Vol. 10: masa x kai finally started getting progress lol. kei x ran - #samejima family issues. kizuna's essence. Vol. 11, chap 1-3: kei x ran #. #samejima family issues. #inheritance #reunion Vol. 11, chap 4-6: masa x kai FINALLY consummated their relationship. phew. btw, i love how masa started getting more handsome since vol. 10. this manga started in the 90s but by half of the story, the art is getting better and better. I've actually watched the OVA but it was so long ago I needed a revisit of the whole story. Ended up reading the entire family of spin-offs haha.

ch. 1-2: uni students romance. hmm... so um... that escalated quickly? i don't know there must have been time lapses between the panels when they were starting to fall inlove with each other. other than that, it's actually really cute. the type that made me giggle. the most important one is chapter two when uke start feeling adequate as he questions himself what it is really being inlove and being in a relationship. .//. ch. 3-5: i love the guy's family. they get along so well and the friend gets a better treatment and they love him so much lol. unfortunately, the sweet fluffy feeling only stay in chapter three and after that failed confession it turned into an angsty "love turned to hate" thing. it's sad because they were such good friends but that unrealized love between them changed them into different person. :( #bully seme x #kind (the masochistic kind) uke #dub!con ch. 6.5: first half: some cute short oneshot with friends who smoked together and one half-joking confession turned into a serious relationship that they are having now. / second half: uke's POV after he rejected seme's confession.

OMFG the comments for this oneshot. TBH the ones calling this rape are probably virgins or have super vanilla sex lives. Do they need a written contract before they had sex everytime? OMFG seriously.

It's OK. not THAT bad but not great either. I was expecting more since a lot of readers are raging over seme but welp. Isn't this a common thing in a revenge manga? (Go to my "Revenge" list, you'll know what I'm talking about). TBH, that part is totally meh. Mangaka tried to create an intense drama by adding the attempted gang rape but it still fell short. What I dislike more is the stupid uke. He's like a love-brained, googly-eyed shoujo heroine. Go all gaga over his guy and is ready to give everything without reserving self-respect for himself. What self-sacrifice? HE'S JUST STUPID. And no, it's not stockholm syndrome as well. He did actually fell inlove at first sight at seme and... he's really just stupid. Also, he and the older cousin treat each other as brothers so I don't see cousin as a love rival. TBH, I like him more than the two MCs. *shrugs. For me, what saved this manga is the plot. It at least kept me reading till the end. The characters? Dunno. In a nutshell, an okay "seishun drama". But nothing outstanding. asshole seme not for everybody.

{ch. 1-2} : main pair - single father seme x nursery teacher: had a bad first meeting. fell inlove with seme's son who is a cute little angel so he got angry at this cold man who is dismissing him. they slowly warm up to each other tho. as a pretense, seme suggested for sensei to be the "mother" of their house. #rich seme - is a general manager of a company and is living a totally in a different lifestyle than our ordinary protagonist. our poor mc tries to cope as seme takes him to high class restaurant he never imagined going to. {ch. 3-5} secondary pair - timeskip chiharu x that little bully at the nursery, satoshi. sporty(Abs!), tsundere uke x pretty-but-a-little-devil-inside seme. baby angel chiharu is now in middle school but he discovered that his dad is in a relationship w/ his first love, their nursery sensei. thus started his rebellious phase. I usually like it when the child grow up and be coupled with someone as well but why did the mangaka had to make chiharu grow up into a rebellious teen? at least don't cut the part where he talked to his parent.... WTH. *sighs. I didn't enjoyed it as much as I should be. I like the story concept, I really do I dig these kind of stories but the plot and the emo teen drama is badly phased it resulted into a forced, shallow drama. --------ɫ ⬧ ɫ-------- ch. 6: cute unrelated oneshot that is just too short. popular guy who wanted more attention got a little bit jealous of this girly handicrafts guy (who hoards the girls) so he decided to join the club to be more popular. got more than that tho, it opened up some feels he thought he'd hidden long ago.

⟫ Mirai no Kioku > Kaze no Yukue. teacher x teacher, co-workers, opposite personalities. seme is a traditional japanese man (and formerly straight man who wanted marriage at that) but uke is a modern guy who has low opinion of commitment in the first place so ofc, problems. And that made it in a lovely, lovely story. This mangaka really is my goddess. Perfect execution, touching story, amazing sex and beautiful art.

Ch. 1-3: ALRIGHT. So his (MC) dad kept telling him to stop half-assing everything so now he decided to take on the challenge but of all things to decide on, it's to go out w/ the guy who confessed to him. GOOD JOB, GENIUS! And the dad's just making it worse ROFLMAO. .//. Ch. 4-5: novelist x part-timer. #older uke x student seme. In exchange for his school sponsorship MC had to put up with this novelist's odd whims. The cosplay, especially is making him loose friends lol. @chap. 5: fun omakes for the cast. The Noda eldest sister shines!

(It's rare for me to get attached to the characters but I did w/ this one so until the end, I had reservations against Xiao Shiu. LOL) The way it was narrated jumping back and forth to past and present is pretty clear and interesting. It's quite the rollercoaster of emotions #childhood friends-to-lovers story. There were lots of painful moments in the past and they separated just like that. #Reencounter after 4 years and uke has greatly changed.

Koishite Daddy > Love Kids. salaryman single parent x college student, #bishounen cast. little baby rin is so cuuuute!!!!!! they had a bad start since dad knows neighbour is gay. and of course, there's the problems of a newly divorced man. later on, uke's parents (he's still a college student) suddenly appeared in his apt. and saw him with the next-door dad.
