Another one of those phantom thief versus police story. This time, the thief has an actual agenda and a deeper reason to steal. This thief's signature is to give a puzzle of a clue and let the police figure it out. He is also always successful in taking the item, frustrating the police assigned to him. Lives a double life too. As a cafe owner and the masked thief. The police guy serves more as a comic relief with his epic fails and his feelings torn between the mysterious thief and the café owner (which are one and the same lol. poor guy) #rich uke #half-European noble blood, half- Japanese. seme - it's sweet how he chased uke to the other parts of the earth

adorable high school life with a "unique" guy with a "unique" taste... in hair. this manga makes me smile. #bi-racial uke. having a blond hair makes people #misunderstood since non-standard hair color has always been associated with delinquency. i also like seme's friends. that "fake jealousy" really helped in making their relationship go forward, despite the demon/sadist of a friend just wanted to make fun of seme.

⟫ Hana to Ryuu > Sessa Takuma > Kizuna > Gun and Heaven. 〚 3 years after Kizuna, the tashiro x j.b. couple settled down in some foreign country. 〛 Assassin couple returns. The many-faced, #half-japanese tashiro roy and his mentor and older lover j.b and their dangerous life together. Separate story, no appearance of prequel main cast. @CH. 6: shu hua cameo (the brat who chases j.b from kizuna). Kodaka sense's artwork has improved leaps and bounds in this volume. I was on a kizuna series binge and it's a nice treat to see how aside from sensei's artwork, you can clearly see the evolution in taste, fashion sense and architecture from sessa's 90's backdrop to GnH's latest 2016 fad.

⟫ Fake > Ra-I. #bi seme x straight uke: uke took his loook time to figure out his feelings. good pace. it took... what? 2-4 years for the charming and handsome dee to get the straight uke around? hehe. #classic: This manga is ahead of it's time. Or is it the other way around? they don't make mangas like this anymore. Now, it's all about the smut and the sexy police trope. For new readers, the art style will take getting used to but once you delve in the story, you will understand why this is a classic. #plot-heavy: Instead of a trope-y and/or kinky police plot or just dropping a gay+police together for some sexy time, we have a manga with a well-developed and properly researched (though not super accurate but the very japanese mangaka tried) story about two policemen who ended up together and just happened to be men. I like how the story is pieced like that. In every arc, we get to see their lives and how the kids grow and as case after case were properly closed, we get to see how their feelings grew. Dee, the guy who has chased his partner for years is as pitiful as he is amusing. I like how he's always creative in his rants. He kept the whole manga into a lighthearted note and I appreciate that despite the dangers and deaths surrounding them, Fake still maintained it's comedic note all throughout. That's the biggest difference it had to the heavy drama New York, New york. #adoption: Ryo took in 10-yo bikky at the start of the story. #great female character: Diana served as a cast for one of a few arcs too bad I wish she's a mainstay. but she's cool, pretty and strong. i like her. #multiple couples, het and gay. NOTE: These special chapters features the grown-up kids version. @vol 3, chap 10 and vol4, chap 12: bikky @14 and 15 yo. respectively. Appearance of rai/lai and lass/rathe. later had their own book. @chap 12: bikky x carol couple finally, at carol's 18th bday. #older girl #3 yrs age gap. @vol. 5, chap. 6: Al x rei couple cameo. #detective, #ESP.

@2015-2017 end: Took them awhile so grateful that the scanlators finally finished it. ch 1-4: #showbiz, fluffy j-idol life. Yuikawa, member of an idol group called Lalovela is known as the cool guy of the group but is actually naive in person. Was having a secret unrequited love for their small and cute member but knew he had no chance since it looked like he's going out with their other member. Then an idol sempai from a long-standing idol duo can't seem to leave him alone even when experiencing a slump right now. ch 5-6: Backstory of the secondary couple in the story. The group "center" rachi x chihaya, the sadistic boy. Chihahya doesn't exactly hate rachi but ofc he'd dislike the fact that this guy, despite seeing plenty of faults, turned out to be the most popular among them. One day, before a concert, rachi is at it again so he decided to bully him a little by asking for a kiss, passing it off as a "good luck charm". Chihaya later realized his actual feelings. ch. 6. p. 26-end: I LIKE MIRAI THE BEST! hahaha. Unfortunately, this is a BL manga so I had to put up with not seeing mirai's romance. Daww. #cute, shoujo-ish art. ☆

Sleeping beauty turned out to be a ravenous beast (and possesive too lol) while our pauper prince try to change his mindset and be confident. ⟫ Related: Kanashii Kotoba. || Ch. 4-5: Takashi's bff and his regrets. Found a kindred spirit in the person of satoshi and so the connection is made. Sort of like an after story of KK. I like this more than kana (the cousin)'s love story haha. (But first... where's the part where satoshi should suffer for what he's done do kana) A story of two lonely people moving on and being happy together. #physical relationship to love. cafe shop owner x college student. Happened two years after Kanashii Kotoba. || FINALLY! The whole series is getting picked up!
