In this story, cats like those can have the chance to take human form with a condition: They will look like a normal human to other people but they will be seen as cats by the human they fall in love with and the human must come to love and accept that form in order for the human to see them beyond the cat form. Ch. 1: kitty requested to their elder to turn him into a long living cat because he fell in love with this college youth who has been kind to him.
