Cover doesn't look like it but it's a testosterone-charged kendo competition love-rivalry. Non-smut but beautiful. There's really something about conquering strong, unattainable cold beauties which attracts me a lot. I like the brother's relationship, especially masaomi and his elder bro. I love how the uke has no reservation whatsoever on doing their first time lol. guy (seme) confessed just when they are going to summer break so friend wasted precious vacation time thinking over it. ch. 6: a #stoic businessman (uke) dislikes little talks so he goes to this #barber's shop often he don't know why. short and cute with an adorable-looking but very serious pouty-looking uke.

Due to the physical constraints of an omega, uke uses his friend(s) to have sex with him in order to pursue something he is good at. already not the usual stereotypical omega-in-rags that you see everywhere. this one can actually break that glass ceiling. IMO the whole concept of this manga screams very omegavere-ish more than any omegaverse mangas out there. It's animalistic, sexy and hot. Not to mention it has a very pretty art style. I'd rather prefer this in-your-face smut than those try-hard sweet yet rapey romance. The intensity of the heat is displayed well here too. I love it when they rut out. My MAIN problem lies with how the mangaka patch together her plot devices. It could have been a very good manga if she was able to deal with all the loose threads properly. I want to rate this higher but it ended up with a mess. She can't be serious on ending it this way. OMO I know this is not a shounen manga but still... where's my koshien???

Vol. 7: we finally get to meet the two's father. lol moments. i thought he'd be some stiff strong aura guy. after the previous heart-stopping action, but he actually looks like a nice old man when he's not in yakuza mode. it's vacation time for the two couples. kai x masa had a long serious talk, figuring out their feelings. AND. till the end they never get to resolve it. even the readers would shrivel up from their super slow progression. they even only reached the first base and haven't done anything since the last. Ahh, touching to see ranmaru picking up his shinai after the terrible accident. everbody believed it's impossible for hiim to take up a sword once more. national-level kendo fight bet. kai x ran. Vol. 9, chap 4-5: roy x j.b. tashiro's real name is actually roy. matured pairing. #oyaji seme #age gap. since he's stuck to stay outside japan and he and j.b. were now going out, he went with him and his assassination jobs. he gets to see some unsightly view like ex-lovers in this latest project tho. I've actually watched the OVA but it was so long ago I needed a revisit of the whole story. Ended up reading the entire family of spin-offs haha.

(I noticed that this mangaka is very much into powerful mysterious lifeforms?) Anway, this is a somehow bizaare combination of slice of life, psychological depth & sci fi. An alien creature who, out of her whim gave these two who were already dead a second chance. Will they be able to change their fate? Cute happy end. ➴ Read past here if you fail to understand the story -------ɫ ⬧ ɫ-------- So alien due to her whim pulled an omnipotent-level of change for this two individual's life... who were suppose to be already dead btw and gave them a quest to fulfill so she could just turn back time and give them back their lives. So she pulled them out of the regular earth's time and placed them into a time-space loop where they could fulfill their mission. Along the way, he started wanting to know more about seme and he went the roundabout way by checking on the old version of seme despite being hurt over and over. Uke's deepening feelings for seme posed as a persisting problem to the point that he wanted to call quits but seme wants to continue bec he's also started to feel attraction. Seme, however looks at all these in a different perspective and tried to clear thing over. Aaand, chapter 8 is our closure that the author wanted to give. The alien life form lost interest in these two because they acted different than what she expected (too bad she's not a fujoshi like us) so bec. she got bored, she left them to look for other people to beta test (the alien technology) with and now the couple is stuck in this time-cycling limbo where they are free to do whatever they wanted to do and had all the time to be honest with themselves (especially the uke). And so the seme finally declared his intention and they lived lovey-dovey happily ever after. At least they got their second chance in life. Not in the way they and us reader expected, like the stereotypical return to original timeline and change the situation but a unique happy ending with a little bittersweetness on it.
