I'm a sucker for time travelling stories lol. Damn, I trapped myself by letting be tempted to read a scanlation that's just started, ugh. Another chinese webtoon, storyline a combination of feng yu jiu tian and true star but it looks like it's on the comedic side. Expecting good things from this one.

Stop at the Red Light > See You at the Crosswalk. This webtoon has pretty art but... The story is so bland and has lots of holes in it. If it's just a smut manga I could be more understanding but this webtoon is just so half-assed about everything and it's stabbing my pet peeve button harshly. Main couple {ch.1-8, 16}: police uke x playboy teacher: #highschool friend, #former delinquent uke #shorty uke. I didn't like the seme at all. I mean the attraction went from 0 to 100 fast. Even if his viewpoint was explained, it didn't helped with anything. He was clearly sleeping with women before, and the uke does not wish to be sex friends with him but the way the story was told they look more like sex friends than lovers. SMH. 2nd couple{9-11}: police uke2 x handsome but weird seme2: Uke1's police buddy is actually already secret lovers with someone. #already going out. Uke(2) is pretty kind and gentle, a big contrast to his odd lover Hwanung who, despite looking like a gentleman is actually a fetishist. Seme is such a funny guy. 3rd couple{11-15}: seme3. Bumjoon(seme) is uke2's friend who never had the courage to confess but interrupts the 2nd couple anyway. Uke is a sexy bartender that Bumjoon had a one night stand with. And I hope they end up together bec they are more interesting. Two people who had unrequited love to other people so they kind of "lick each other's wound" by being sex friends. I'M APPALLED THAT THIS WAS RATED HIGH JUST BECAUSE IT'S A WEBTOON. MEANWHILE THERE ARE TONS OF MANGAS BETTER THAN THIS BUT ARE RATED BELOW 8. WTF IS WRONG WITH THE MANGAGO USERS. It's sad, depressing and portrays race and sexual orientation discrimination in a damatic and gritty way. There are plenty of moments where I say "yes" especially when connor threw that coffee a stranger gave him. Unlike a lot of BL mangas, this does not encourage gay fetishism that made it likeable for me but also hard to read because I can't help but identify and that for me is bad bec. it triggers a lot in me since I'm both asian and not straight. double damn, haha. Unfortunately, it's still ongoing but I don't like rereading stories like these even if it's good. It's too painful and personal. #break-up, #re-encounter after 6 mos to one year. #inter-racial lovers. #drugs. Seme is famous yet on paths to self-destruction but now, at least they got back together and they should fight back against this shitty world just to survive and keep their relationship as a gay couple. #bullying issues: it made a deep impression/trauma for the uke, not to mention he's gay too and his religious mother, though well-meaning is just not helping. i love mona, their former bandmate. it's been years since they disbanded but is still friends with the two MCs. she's awesome.

These things either don't last long or poorly written. I appreciate bl writers that goes outside the normal genres of boys love. Hope to see more creators follow suit. Korea for some years now has been having teens or young people who just don't care about life in general but spends their day following around obsession... the so-called "sasaeng". Our Mc is no different, only, he is a man and the person he idolizes his another man named Sangwoo. He is gloomy, unsociable and spends what little money he had looking for infos, stalking Sangwoo, believing he's inlove with the man. Unfortunately, he got caught and right then and there had his illusions shattered. This guy is no different than any two-faced criminal... no, even worse. And his shiny little dream which turned out to be a nightmare has just begun, as this psycho for some reasons cannot seem to kill him.
