4.5 Holy fuck that was an emotional roller-coaster. It was angsty and messy and painfully realistic. This is first yaoi I've read where love seems to be portrayed how it would mostly likely be in the real world (Through I wouldn't actually know from experience). Everything about this is just so raw and real: Sexually, they are portrayed as REAL men; not the fantasy seme-uke role but actually have a legit gay relationship. They don't go through the generic "forbidden love" problems but real the relationship struggles that any couple would undergo, but more so because it's between a straight and a gay man. They both constantly contradict what they want and even acknowledge they aren't good together. But love isn't just pure and happiness, but is actually more complex and selfish, and their love is just that. They're two misfits who struggle with the definition of love and realize that it's what they have. I also really liked the role of the girlfriend. She epitomizes everything the straight guy believes love should be like, as well as his life as a straight man. She's not an instrument used to create excessive problems between the couple, but rather someone who creates psychological conflict for the straight guy. She was so real and was an actual human being who had some struggles but just ultimately fell in love with the straight guy. A million times better than the prequel. A different reread.

Chapter 3: 4.5 YAS THIS IS GETTING GOOD. Chapter 4 and after: OH MY GOD I CANT. THIS IS PERFECTION.

I have absolutely no idea why it took me so long to read this because it's a fucking masterpiece. The story and characters are fucking next level. Like major shounen manga quality level. Oh god yes. Of all the omegaverse I've read this is I'd label this as a masterpiece in omegaverse. The story, characters, and overall universe are very well-developed and theres a lot of aspects in the characters that make them more unconventional than characters in a typical omegaverse. I swear the beta butler is the most selfless person ever. Everything he did was to help the alpha and omega's inevitable fate. Reread again: UGH I JUST CANT GET OVER HOW WELL WRITTEN THIS IS. the motif of smell and happiness is so apparent. Everything that happens is not meaningless and only contributes to the development of characters and the story. This is not only the well-written omega verse, but also a well-written yaoi manga overall.

I ALSO LOVE HOW THIS IS A SUPERNATURAL VAMPIRE GENRE BUT THEY ARE SO SUBTLE ABOUT AND MAINLY FOCUS ON THE DAILY LIFE OF THE CHARACTERS. FANGIRLED LOTS. ANGIRLY SCREAMED LOTS. CRIED BUCKETS. UGH JUST PERFECTION. Chapter 57: OH MY GOD IM SO PROUD OF MY SON. YOU TELL THAT DICK OFF. His apology wasn't for him but for himself. He'll never deserve his forgiveness and the uke lets him know that. FUUUUJCK YESSSSSH. Honestly the author could just end it here and I'd be completely content (I mean shit min gyeom got closure from three people in one chapter)

OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GREAT. It's so refreshing because this really focuses on developing the relationships and friendships. The main couple have so believable chemistry and a solid friendship that the route their relationship is going makes so much sense. I feel so much for the main couple but the second particsulry the black haired guy... my god are they sexy. I love how much of a tease everything and everyone is in this but that's what makes the chemistry so great. This is such a thrill to read because it's really funny, really sad, and really hot (even though nothings happened yet). Everyone from the main characters to the background characters (ie the girls which by the way are fucking hilarious) is fucking fantastic. I absolutely love the slapstick element in this because it really helps show just how trivial and relatable their characters daily relationship is. I love how day to day the main couple have such a bro relationship but at the end of the day both are willing to do anything for the other. 15 OUT OF 10. INSTANT REREAD AND FAVORITE.
