Hot but not even close to its prequel.

4.5 Holy fuck that was an emotional roller-coaster. It was angsty and messy and painfully realistic. This is first yaoi I've read where love seems to be portrayed how it would mostly likely be in the real world (Through I wouldn't actually know from experience). Everything about this is just so raw and real: Sexually, they are portrayed as REAL men; not the fantasy seme-uke role but actually have a legit gay relationship. They don't go through the generic "forbidden love" problems but real the relationship struggles that any couple would undergo, but more so because it's between a straight and a gay man. They both constantly contradict what they want and even acknowledge they aren't good together. But love isn't just pure and happiness, but is actually more complex and selfish, and their love is just that. They're two misfits who struggle with the definition of love and realize that it's what they have. I also really liked the role of the girlfriend. She epitomizes everything the straight guy believes love should be like, as well as his life as a straight man. She's not an instrument used to create excessive problems between the couple, but rather someone who creates psychological conflict for the straight guy. She was so real and was an actual human being who had some struggles but just ultimately fell in love with the straight guy. A million times better than the prequel. A different reread.

I liked it because it was the ukes unrequited love for the seme, misunderstandings, and heartache. But I didn't like it because the seme is a selfish loathe some prick who's actions will obviously create misunderstandings that he loves someone else and the uke is a spineless coward who only wallows in self pity about how he thinks the seme doesn't love him yet doesn't say or do anything about it.

LOOOOOOVED the beginning and middle part because it had misunderstandings, drama, angst, and unrequited love that left me with heart ache. However towards the end of the story starts to get pretty borderline shoujo-y and cliche with the love square and all. Would still read because it had a lot of gahhh moments. Also, I didn't really get what was the deal between the black haired seme and the other blonde uke.

Story 1- fuck... the ukes insecurities hit WAAAAAY too close to home... especially chapter 2. Like seriously I see too much of myself in him... -last chapter: OH MY GOD YES. Love triangles between the uke aren't my favorite but MY GOD I LOVED THIS ONE. -I swear it's like this mangaka KNOWS ME. I'm Other stories: the art is not as developed which makes it distracting and the stories are kinda meh.

I'm usually not into the overly sweet/puppy seme and aloof uke type of pairing, but I'm liking this one so far. Seems interesting and I look forward for more. I also seem to have a soft spot for all of this mangaka's work so of course I instantly liked it. After raws: wow that was so unexpected! It turns out the uke isn't the typical aloof megane type but A FUCKING SWEETHEART WHO ENDS UP FALLING FOR THE OTHER GUY EARLIER THAN ANTICIPATED. Usually the whole uke was initially in love with another but falls out of love type always seemed so unconvincing but this one works because: 1) the uke and seme become friends first w/o the uke or seme trying to seduce each other 2) it's through the ukes POV which I ALWAYS love. UGH THIS IS SO GREAT AND I CANT WAIT FOR MORE. I ALREADY FUCKING CRIED. AFTER CHAPTER 3: 5 OH MY GOD MY KOKORO.

Meh. I like the confidenc of the uke but the seme is a prick for leading him to be insecure about his feelings and the story overall was fucking unbelievable.

Nahhhhh.... indecisive coward uke, meh seme, and annoying childish other seme. i like how they just dropped the other guy when the uke realized his wanted to be with the seme (not)... no fucking closure. everything about this is overly and unnecessarily dramatic and complicated.
