This story at one point had GRIPPED me with its story telling and I was so interested to see what kind of redemption arc ML would have that would suffice after everything he did to MC. MC has every right to hate him, as he manipulated her and was ultimately (indirectly) the cause of her mother's death. The fact she said she didn't care what kind of person he was... That he could continue to hurt her and she would stay... Is crazy to me. Especially after victimizing himself after tauntingly breaking up with her.
