"Since that moment...I felt the world around me suddenly taking on vibrant colors I had never seen before...as if I had been wearing a blindfold this whole time. And for the first time in my life...I felt so alive". ☚☛ A beautiful tale of salvation and unconditional love! From the summary and from the characters' first meeting, one wouldn't expect to find such a sweet love story! Despite the violent, dark background and some underlying heavy issues, the characters' relationship was so cute! They were so sweet to each other and their every moment and word were so meaningful! This story was so exquisite and truly perfect! And I think it was also visually unique: black and white with those sparkles of light / color at important / emotional moments, and some details of the scenes' backgrounds, the reflections of the windows or of the light were all things that caught my attention, as they were different from other works! I think those details were great! > Totally recommended!! (Ch. 13 First kiss) (Ch. 21 They go all the way) #25 y.o uke x 31 y.o seme, Debt-Motivated Protagonist, Debt, Depression, Poor Uke, Rich Seme, Gangster, Mafia, Seme Falling in Love First, Gay Uke

Set in Russia // Army's Spy|First Lieutenant x Right Arm of a Mafia Boss // Reunion (They were Roommates and Friends at the Military Academy) // Russian Seme x Half-Russian Half-Georgian Uke ☚☛ Interesting reading with gorgeous art. And the bonus was very precious...you really see how much they love each other! A beautiful story! > Curiously, the story "Missing Code", involving a russian protagonist and the mafia as well, is also by Katou Erena (illustrated by Minase Masara). One can clearly see what kind of stories sensei likes to write! And they're also the types I like to read! Too bad, it seems there aren't any other new ones by her...

Season (ASOU Mitsuaki)

Complete | ASOU Mitsuaki | 2015 released

A child's seemingly ordinary act of kindness became something of inestimable value to Matsuoka Sueji who was never treated as a human once in his life. That's why, Matsuoka never forgot about that child called Inose Azuma, who was the young son of his former employer, and a decade later he visits him and his sick mother to return the favor... (()) Beautiful story with a precious essence. I loved how that small child's kindness moved Matsuoka so profoundly to then commit himself with his whole self to be there for him when the time would come for Azuma to be in a difficult situation. Even if he took a questionable path (he became a loan shark), everything he did was for that sole purpose...he'd do anything for him and that's touching! After facing the violent side of Matsusoka's lifestyle, Azuma still chose to be beside him and accept him completely. That ultimately lead Matsuoka to want to change for the better! As we saw in the end, after some years, he and Azuma returned to the countryside and he was hired in a regular job. P.S. Exactly because it was an ordinary kind act and he was still a child, Azuma actually didn't remember about their first encounter. Then, at the end of ch. 4, he finally remembers it and realizes that Matsuoka was that boy...that was truly a beautiful moment!

I really wish this story had been longer! It was an interesting type of plot...the kind I'm intrigued to read. Anyway, I still really liked it! There was something, be it the art-style or the atmosphere or what, that made this story unique!
