Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #mind reader(3)

Urusai Kurai no Kokuhaku Kudasai

Complete | Sachimo | 2018 released

I love stories with a touch of the supernatural. In this one, Hayashida had the ability to hear people’s hearts or their inner voice. Looking to find his fated one he found the captain of the soccer team whose voice he couldn’t hear and Mori-senpai, whose thoughts centred on boobs. This story was so sweet because there is no avoiding honesty and communication with someone who reads minds. Really, an adorable story.

Aiin Honey Melt

Complete | Touya tsuduru | 2019 released

A cute little story about two coworkers for a coffee company. Oomori is in the research and development department and Tsutsumi in marketing. Oomori often feels that Tsutsumi hates him because of his cold demeanour at work and the fact that he is always harsher towards him with critique than others. But when Oomori starts hearing Tsutsumi’s inner thoughts one day, he is stunned to learn that the cool exterior is hiding romantic feelings towards Oomori. These guys are very cute as a couple. Tsutsumi is endearingly shy with his feelings but so happy to have Oomori return his interest. Oomori is a cheerful seme who finds his partner totally cute and adorable. Very sweet story.

Aoi Hitomi no Bakemono

Complete | Gamoko tsuyu | 2019 released

Tatsumi is a boy who has has inherited the beautiful blue eyes of his bloodline. Not only are they beautiful, they also are a sign of his supernatural powers; to know all of a persons thoughts and desires, every secret, simply by looking in their eyes. When Tatsumi’s powers became evident, he was sent to live with his grandfather on an island. Protected yet caged, Tatsumi's blue eyed grandfather told him that even though he will face heardships and misfortune, to never hate or despise humans, and to try not to live alone, like he had. After the death of his grandfather, Tatsumi meets Kei, a kid who he had saved from his abusive father. Kei, who has a crush on Tatsumi, became a scientist to help Tatsumi finally be able to look in his eyes. Their story was surprisingly real and healthy, despite the supernatural elements and Tatsumi being restricted to the island. There was a lot of character growth and development, including time (years) spent apart but still committed to each other. I enjoyed it, perhaps only wishing Tatsumi didn’t have to be left behind while Kei went and had fun in England.
