Abuse is a horrible horrible thing and there is literally no excuse but I'm glad the Azami oneshot showed Kanchans story because at least it gave a REASON. So glad it showed hes perfectly human too instead of having an unrepentant abusive character that still somehow gets a 'happy' ending.
