Couldn’t really see the love between them, but that’s often par for the course in Harlequin World. The thing that really annoyed the heck out of me was the intolerant busybody client and the dork-ass CEO who was about to fire him merely on the Client’s suspicions. I wouldn’t work for someone who disowned his daughter for being a single mother,either. If his son was gay, would he put out a hit contract on him? I guess that when you’re a rich businessman, when the richer client says “bob,” you better bob. I think I actually prefer to work for a living to having a villa and a Ferrari and no self respect.
