I only wish that it was that simple for a confirmed misogynist to change his character. He knew his dear little brother all those years and definitely knew that he was a selfish, cowardly scumbag and yet he fell for his version hook, line, and sinker. I actually found the FL's quieter epiphany more believable and interesting than the ML's. She acted so mature that I was as proud as if I were her father when she calmly demanded her passport, returned his ring, and walked out of little brother's nasty little sordid life.
