Odd, but not bad story. The villain was pretty twisted, and the dad was majorly at fault, partly for not realizing his secretary's feelings and also for how he treated his PHD daughter like an idiot. As for the ML, the kindest description I can come up with is that he was a total piece of s*&t. No matter how attracted he was to her, deceiving her (his benefactor's daughter, no less) and seducing her while she was drunk was TOTALLY unethical and the action of a pure cad. Also, why was the CEO (?) allowed to shut her projects down when the chairman, president, and all the other board members liked it? His enmity and absolute authority were never explained.
