I really liked Leonidas' character. He was angry and upset when she dumped him, but he didn't go down the usual Harlequin ML route of immediately devising elaborate revenge schemes aimed at publicly humiliating her and destroying her life permanently. When she came to him, he was prepared to tell her off in the same fashion that she dumped him, but seeing her sadness and pain, he promptly forgot about that and did his best for her. The fact that he didn't have that "boo hoo, my pride has been hurt and I must make someone pay" syndrome puts him in the top level of Harlequin MLs. I also enjoyed there being no toxic family/friends to try and destroy their relationship. I do get awfully tired of that trope. Way to go, Kate!"

One of the best. Two decent and caring people who will raise loved children. What romance is all about.

Loved it. A Dutch doctor who WASN'T an arrogant, misogynistic moron. Must be the influence of Riho Sachimi sensei doing the manga version. I almost invariably love her works.

I enjoyed it. It was pretty good from the get-go, and being made into a manga by Takako-sensei probably made it even better. Garbage mother will probably spend the rest of her life stewing in her own hatred. Boo, hoo, hoo!

That was a really nice one. After all the arrogant, testosterone-ridden, misogynistic tycoons, a gentlemanly cop was a breath of fresh air.
