The premise of this story is almost as goofy as the rules for royalty in the Carramer Series. So, at the coronation, does the king have to spin around 3 times and bark like a dog to make it official? Also, the ML really fell for that obvious scam artist in the beginning? What a dope.

Pack o' buttheads! I guess that for some people (the kind that have no brake of reason on their passions) hatred is a much more natural and unifying force than love or shared interest and belief. What a collection of toxic filth.

Damn... Dude could write a book "How to Royally Fail as a Husband." First: Always believe your parents when they badmouth your wife. Second: Never listen if she complains about something - always start a counter argument and start blaming her. Third: If she asks a favor, always demand a concession in return. Fourth: Belittle her career and unsubtly hint that she isn't living up to the June Cleaver model woman of the 1950's. Fifth: When none of that works to make her properly subservient, blackmail and threaten her to get your way. Finally: never forget the cardinal rule of a happy marriage, "Marry 'em young, treat 'em rough, tell 'em nothing." After all, you're the very flower of Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Poor girl needed therapy, both for her horrendous loss and for being married to someone who needed 24 hour therapy and an entire pharmacopeia of meds. The title should really be, "The Lost Wife and the Loser Husband."

Whatever was between his ears was definitely an inert substance. His understanding about women was something like my understanding of the finer points of Superstring Theory. Aaaannd… We have the “always forgive psychopath filth if they’re family” trope once again. Unfortunately for victims, there are a great many psychologists who hold to this trash idea buckle and thong. This “closure” shit has made an awful lot of abused people suffer even more. I won’t say that people can’t repent, but that is an entirely different matter than forgiving the unrepentant and unforgivable as a matter of course. In my opinion and experience, the leopard rarely changes his spots.

Also, at the beginning when he was so incredibly rude to the FL when asking for directions ("Hey, You!"), she should have given him directions to the nearest bog so his Rolls could sink up to its axles.

My father hated me and treated me like garbage ever since I was born, ensuring that I had no confidence or sense of self worth. Now he’s dying (although he still despises me) and I would sacrifice anyone and let the world burn to save him pain. Am I a moron or what?
