I enjoyed it. The only gripe I have with the ML is his lack of discrimination in choosing his friends. The story would have been perfect for me with an ending of Oliver flying out a second story window and having the hounds sicked on him.

I liked it. ML had some handicaps from his childhood to overcome, but he wasn't a jerk like so many HQ MLs with childhood trauma. He was a really decent guy and very kindly. FL was a great person and not a wimp melting at the first hint of testosterone. Her attraction to the ML was understandable and due to his good character and not his tantric charisma.

It has to be the first Sarah Craven story that didn't make me cringe. I actually enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it. His bro needed smacking around, but I think he changed for the better.

I enjoyed it. Nice people, no unnecessary angst, and gratuitous drama.

Definitely one of the better ones. All the characters are great. The ML started off kinda dense, but he really wanted to be better than he was and make amends for all the right reasons. A good read.

I liked the story. It was nice, and aside from the smug and pushy consultant, they were all nice people. They sure did fall into the rack fast, though. Kind of like, "Hi. I'm here to take you to dinner on our first date. Now take off your clothes."

I enjoyed it. It was well-written and interesting. The plot wasn't so convoluted as to be unbelievable and the characters weren't scumbags because of trauma or wounded pride. The ML started off as a grump, but that's better than the typical sexual harasser or psychopathic misogynist so popular with an Harlequin ML who has any kind of trauma in his past.

I liked it. I didn't want to kill the ML (maybe slap him a few times early on, though), like I do in half the HQ manga I read. The staff, however, with that "you will act like I tell you to act" attitude would be reduced to tears the first time they tried that crap on me, and not through physical violence.

It was an interesting story. However, of all the "high class" aristos, the only ones worth the powder to blow themselves up were the late Cyril and the ML. The ML's mother, sister, ex-girlfriend, and interior designer were vindictive mannerless pigs. The ML himself started off as a pretty supercilious snob, but he improved. He could definitely have improved more by being more open and communicative with his wife. For the majority of the story, it seemed like he worked quite hard to be always in charge, keeping her just a little off balance. The FL's grandmother, contrary to his mother's judgment, was adorable. If anything, the portrayal of the "upper class" as uncivil, petty a**holes makes me happy with my middle class upbringing by parents with education, manners, and empathy, if not huge bank accounts.
