Kidnapped for the Tycoon's Baby
I kind of enjoyed it, but the poor dude has enough baggage to fill an airline terminal. I've dealt with his step-father's type before: abrasive, ignorant, smart-ass who is proud of his ignorance and displays it all the time.
Best Friends, Secret Lovers
Sorry, but they really were dopes! The brother and his wife were filth, though.
The Greek's Billion-Dollar Baby
Desert Affair
The plot was an Harlequin cliche, but it was pretty well done. I enjoyed it.
Lovers in the Afternoon
I rather enjoyed it. The ML's turnabout wasn't too bad (I do hate the trope of Ivan the Terrible suddenly turning into St. Francis of Assisi). His father's turnabout, though, I wouldn't really trust. From psychopath to kitten lover? I don't think so.
High Risk
Kind of a trope, but it was nicely done. They sure didn't communicate well, though! I guess that lack is what makes most Harlequins tick, though.
The Mistress Scandal
I rather liked both the MCs. The only thing that annoyed me was the ML's attitude of always smiling in a way that seemed like he was looking down on her. It was like he didn't take her seriously and acted as though her emotions were just little tantrums that she'd get over. It reminded me of certain relatives and other adults when I was quite young. I or another child would be very upset and said adults (not my parents, thank God) would smirk and laugh and talk about how cute it was. I wasn't old enough to know the word "homicidal," but that was pretty much how I felt. Aside from my parents, my favorite relatives were two aunts and one uncle who always took me seriously when I was a child, and didn't make fun of my interests and aspirations. Children know instinctively when they're being looked down on, and adults can see it even clearer. The kind of person who does that in an adult relationship is the kind of man who thinks of his wife as "The Little Woman" or a wife wearing a shirt that says, "I'm with Stupid."
Desert King, Doctor Daddy
A bit cliché, but I liked it. The daughter was the cutest.
