AN INNOCENT MAID FOR THE DUKE
A real breath of fresh air after the plethora of stereotypical toxic, entitled playboys and near rapists and women who immediately lose their minds, morals, and clothes after one whiff of the playboy’s pheromones. This had cute characters, a clever and imaginative plot, and was fun to read.
The Night Before Baby
I loved it! After the plethora of toxic MLs dominated by macho pride and testosterone and the doormat FLs who would forgive the ML for being a child molester, this was a breath of fresh air. The ML was kind of a dope initially, but got some sense slapped into him (enjoyed that scene). By far the best thing, though, was his foster father's line at the end on page 130, possibly the best line ever in an Harlequin.
