Side note: ML tells his uncle all the gooey details of his love confession. When reading that, I had a picture in my head of my favorite uncle's face if I had done that. He probably would have had me put in a home for hopeless alcoholics as he would have assumed I drank so much that I destroyed ALL my brain cells.
