A rich foreign national who kidnaps two American citizens ON AMERICAN SOIL and holds them incommunicado, abducts them to a foreign country, has "the six top lawyers in the US" on retainer, etc., etc., etc. Not only that, his tame lawyer advises him on how to illegally control his kidnap victim. No wonder few people trust the justice system anymore. After all this a**hole's crimes against her, when he finds out that she lied about being the child's mother, he comes up with the most hurtful and hateful revenge he can think of. Then, in the twinkling of an eye, he does a 180 degree turnaround and becomes a kindly and loving near successor to St Francis of Assisi. All of this conflicting personality is about as psychologically believable as Jeffrey Epstein claiming to stand up for women's rights.
