Here we go again in Harlequin World: Mom was a gold digging hoe, so all women are like that. I'm traumatized, so I'll spend my life destroying, manipulating, and mentally torturing women and ensuring that they're kicked out of marriage penniless while I make billions in divorce court costs (kinda unrealistic; the money angle that is). Blackmail, lying, and coercion are perfectly alright, as I'm only dealing with women, a class of subhumans. Did I get his character right?

I was going to give it one more star for the little girl, but the adults were such a bunch of unfaithful scum that I took it back. Why don't they just go for free love or open marriages instead of pretending. As a final note: why in the living Hell would the FL give that unempathetic, greedy scumbag her riding school and ranch as a gift. He was a complete POS.

I don't care about his epiphany, his selfless (ha, ha) love, or anything else that supposedly makes him a saint underneath.
