Just before summer vacation in their third year of middle school, the class is suddenly transported to another world by the goddess Ashera. The 26 students are given statuses that allow them to use skills and cheat abilities to become heroes in the other world. However, the number of students transported is 25leaving behind Iori Shu, the boy who had just transferred and wasnt counted.

While his classmates train in the other world to prepare for their battles as heroes, Shu remains in peaceful Japan, devoting himself to studying the status he was given. Quietly experimenting with his skills, he occasionally uses them to help those around him. But before he realizes it, Shu has become a target of various organizations around the world!?
