In the harsh northern land of “Licon”, There, Evelyn Ephonhart, the Grand Duke hailed as the true pillar of the North, personally takes the front lines to fend off the constant invasion of monsters. One day, after finishing a routine monster-slaying mission and preparing to return, she discovers an unconscious man buried in the snow. “I came here for one reason only and that is to stay by your side.” The suspicious man seems to know Evelyn all too well, and though wary, she has him imprisoned. Yet no matter how many times he’s locked up… he keeps escaping, only to return to her side again and again. The man who refuses to leave her alone is Gio Clozen. With no other choice, Evelyn decides to keep him close at hand… so she can monitor him herself. Meanwhile, a series of mysterious thefts begin to occur throughout Licon… Could Gio’s sudden appearance and the unexplained incidents be connected somehow?
