Yeongdo, a poor lumberjack living alone, yearning for a family. And then there's the Imoogi, who can only become a dragon by killing his companion.
Heard of a rumor that if you throw an axe into a mountain pond, the mountain spirit will transform it from an iron axe to a golden one, Yeongdo decides to throw his axe into the pond to prepare for his wedding.
However, what emerges from the pond is an Imoogi, furious at the humans who keep throwing axes at him.
The Imoogi, initially intent on killing the humans before him, is drawn to Yeongdo's scent and becomes obsessed with him...
