Kimi wa Haru ni Me o Samasu

Ito and Chiharu, though seven years apart, share a very deep friendship in which Ito has an unrequited love for Chiharu. In a turn of events, Chiharu is afflicted with a terminal illness and is put into an induced comatose state in hopes that a cure will be developed while he is sleeping. After seven years, Chiharu wakes up, and finds that Ito is now the same age as him, and that his then-classmate has become his homeroom teacher.

Ito e Chiharu, mesmo com sete anos de diferença, compartilham uma amizade muito profunda, na qual Ito tem um amor não correspondido por Chiharu. Em uma sequência de acontecimentos, Chiharu é afligido por uma doença terminal e entra em estado de coma induzido, com esperança de que uma cura seja desenvolvida enquanto ele dorme. Depois de sete anos, Chiharu acorda e descobre que Ito agora tem a mesma idade que ele, e que seu antigo companheiro de turma agora é seu professor.
