Summary
In the 16th Century Holy Roman Empire, witch-hunting is at its height—with any kind of misfortune being attributed to them. As a result, those accused of being witches, regardless of truth or circumstances, are tortured, and executed. It just happens that the naturally people-loving witch, Marie, lives during this time—and she wants to live alongside humans! But she can't let anyone find out she's a witch!
