Summary
Monk Sanzang from the "Journey to the west" has time slipped to the present-day Korea.
She has lived her lifetime constantly fighting yokai but her most dangerous opponent turns out to be just one guy?!
On the orders of Buddha, Monk Sanzang and her companions pilgramaged the Western regions in search of his teachings.
Unlike Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, who hoped to become gods in recognition of their contribution, rather than being tied down to the life of Buddhism, Sanzang wanted to remain in the human world and enjoy a new life as an ordinary human.
But as she was being dragged to Heaven by orders from the Buddha, she notices a strange tunnel leading to the human world in which she escapes into...
And the place where she fell is the Republic of Korea's Jeju Island!
And she meets a guy named Lee Hyun?!
The time-slipped Monk Sanzang a.k.a Hyeonjeong and the tsundere Lee Hyun's turbulent romance!
