The prisoner, Raiya, is a striking but dangerous-looking man who has been wounded and kept in chains and refuses even to reveal his identity. Kiira is tasked with caring for him—and, importantly, winning his trust and getting information from him. As she spends time with the supposed “beast,” however, their relationship becomes increasingly personal and romantic.
