The story of Seora, who returned as an assassin, and Heejin, who loves her with all his heart, intertwined with the ruthless political strife and fierce power struggles that unfold within the imperial palace.

A royal edict arrives for the King of Yeon, who reigns over the northern province of the Empire. It commands him to marry Lee Seora, the half-born daughter of Count Lee Yonghyuk.
