Like it was mentioned above It does have to do with the society. Men are put in a box in all cultures around the world. However, the stigmas that surround the idea of being a "man" or masculine is different in different places. The country I was born in (Nepal), Most places there same-sexes holding hands is normal. I'm currently reading 26, I think. I try not to surpass 30, bc are too much to handle by waiting and waiting and then remembering the plot of each one after long time lapses. What I do is read only finished works, and I list as "want to read" all those unfinished works who picked my interest. Then, I wait for them to get completed... if ever xD 1 reply

It's just what the lens that society has grown to see everything through.
