If they are reading yaoi, i would think they are gay but I read somewhere that they can be straight even though, but i dont know. I hope this question doesnt sound bad
Hi, asexual here. Asexuality is about sexual attraction, it has nothing to do with whether or not you want to have sex. Some asexuals have no sex drive and no desire to have sex, some asexuals do have a sex drive and do have sex. You don't have to be attracted to someone to have sex with them and have it be pleasurable. Like is someone sexually att...... 1 reply
well, i agree with you on the last part. having sex as an asexual and enjoying it kind of defeats the purpose of calling yourself an asexual, someone who doesn't like sex or doesn't get attracted sexually. 1 reply
I mean no offense by this question and am just generally curious about what you guys have to say. I have just seen a few people online claiming that they’re asexual because they aren’t attracted to people sexually but still enjoy sex and to me it seems like it defeats the purpose of being asexual. Well you know asexuals are still perfectly capable of having sexual fantasies and having sex, we just aren't sexually attracted to people. For me, I fantasize about sex alot and smut/yaoi helps facilitate those fantasies 1 reply
Asexual here. I don't usually read yaoi for the sex scenes, but rather for the plot (which is why I tend to avoid PWPs). That's not to say I avoid depictions of sex altogether - I used to read a shit ton of hentai.
I personally define asexuality as a lack of sexual attraction and desire. That means some of us can still get horny, but that arousal ...... reply
